If your tutor doesn’t know how to help with your specific question, he or she will be happy to transfer you to another tutor right away (and you won't lose any minutes while you wait). If you ever have a session you're not completely happy with, you can request a credit for the minutes used. We will review the session, and if it doesn't meet our standards for quality or accuracy, we can credit those minutes back to your account!

Students can either request an on-demand session with any available tutor, or schedule an appointment with a specific tutor. To find a tutor and set up an appointment (at least 48 hours in advance), sign in to your account and select “Schedule a Session”.

Send us an email or call us at (800) 411-1970 and choose Option 1. We're available Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Thursday and Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM (all times Eastern)

Yes, you can cancel at any time. If you choose to cancel, you'll be able to finish your current month, and we will not charge your card again.

You may want to temporarily put your billing plan on Hold instead of canceling. Just click "View or change your plan" on your Account page, then choose "Put your Monthly Plan on Hold." You can select a new billing date up to three months from today, and you can continue to use academic tutoring for as long as you have minutes on your account.

A credit card is required to open a subscription with the Princeton Review. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You must have a U.S. or Canadian billing address when purchasing a plan.

For those who have purchased a subscription service, tutoring sessions should be used during each month of your subscription.

Any unused subscription hours in your account will not roll over from one month to the next. However, if you purchase additional minutes in a given month, these will roll over to the month following purchase only. If you cancel your plan, you can use your minutes until your current billing month ends.

Tech Support

If you're having trouble starting a session with one of our tutors, please follow this checklist:

  1. Make sure you're using one of our supported web browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari or Google Chrome.
  2. Turn off your web browser's pop-up blocker. Our online classroom opens in a new browser window when you click "Get a Tutor," so a pop-up blocker could prevent it from launching correctly.
  3. Clear your browser's cache.
  4. Restart your computer.

Following these steps should allow you to open our online classroom and start working with a tutor, but if you're not sure how to clear your cache or need more in-depth assistance, please give us a call at (800) 411-1970.

Make sure you're not streaming video, downloading files, or playing games in another browser window, or on another computer that shares your internet connection. This can overburden your internet connection and interrupt your connection with our online classroom. You should also make sure that you're using one of our supported web browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari.

If you're still not sure why you're being disconnected, please give us a call at (800) 411-1970 so we can provide technical support.
