One year (eight semester hours) each of general biology, and physics, along with one-half year of calculus or statistics, are required. Two years (16 semester hours or equivalent) of chemistry, which must include one semester (or equivalent) of organic chemistry and one semester (or equivalent) of biochemistry. Facility in written and spoken English is also required. MCAT results are strongly recommended and must be no more than 3 years old as of date of admission.
