From the School

Founded in 1978, Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) offers an MD degree program administered by a faculty whose primary responsibility is teaching. The systems-based curriculum is designed to enable students to acquire and master medical sciences concepts and prepare to integrate knowledge of these concepts into clinical care. In January 2019, RUSM opened its new Medical Sciences Campus in Bridgetown, Barbados. Clinical rotations are completed at affiliated US teaching hospitals. RUSM has an alumni network of over 14,700 MDs across the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and beyond. In 2020, 2019 - 2020 RUSM graduates achieved a 93.5% 1st time Residency rate; 545 current and former RUMS graduates attained residencies in 24 different specialties.
