Admissions Requirements
The School of Medicine requires 8 credit hours each of the following courses, all of which must be taken with associated labs: Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and General Physics. In addition to the traditional pre-medical courses, one semester of math and two semesters of English composition are also prerequisites. The MCAT is required; scores must be from after 1999. If a student has taken the MCAT more than once, the highest total set of MCAT scores is considered.
