Bio:

Janet Lemmon has been tutoring for over 25 years. She’s an all-around committed educator who not only enjoys helping students achieve their dreams, but believes that an educated society is a better society. Janet has sent at least eight students to Harvard in the past few years, and several to Notre Dame, Brown, Columbia, and Cornell, among other notable schools. One of Janet's students achieved a perfect score on the ACT and on the SAT.
A New Jersey native, Janet holds a BA in English literature from Smith College, plus an M. Phil. in Anglo-Irish literature from Trinity College, University of Dublin in Ireland. She spent one year of her college career at a special program at Dartmouth College. Outside of tutoring with TPR, Janet is a mathematics editor and academic designer at an educational publishing company. In her free time, Janet enjoys dance, hip-hop fitness, and baking—she even baked her own wedding cake! If she weren’t a tutor, she would be a pastry chef. Janet and her husband enjoy exercise, hiking, and traveling (especially to the Alps!).
