Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business boasts a "a great reputation and a strong alumni network," elective specializations in finance, healthcare management, high technology management, innovation entrepreneurship, international management, marketing, supply chain management, and sustainability, and the option to earn a dual master's in finance with four or more additional courses. Student's prize the "convenience" of the online program and the "flexibility" of taking "concentrated yet accelerated" courses or the "autonomy" to take time off when work/family require." Online MBA students may take their courses "exclusively online," or they also have the option to complete a campus-based residency (an intensive one-week course) or an international field study residency. One student who traveled to Dubai for an international residency remarked, "It was a transformative experience." Students describe their "culturally and geographically diverse" classmates as "nimble," "highly motivated and intelligent." "I can see myself networking with [them] and keeping in touch after the class." "The caliber of the professors is outstanding," and these "challenging, interactive, and current" teachers are "quick to respond and very helpful." "Many professors are very interested in improving the online learning experiences" as are the "awesome tech support" team available 24/7. In addition, a dedicated Student Services team provides start to finish student support. Though the program's format can be "intense," a work-life balance is "manageable." As a whole, students report high satisfaction with the "variety of classes and concentrations offered" and the "coursework that will be invaluable when applying in the real world."
