One of the largest business programs in the state of Georgia, Kennesaw State University also has “the lowest cost out of all good schools in the Atlanta area.” The “affordable” tuition means a “cost effective” education that doesn’t skimp on quality. “Why pay a lot more for education when KSU offers great value for the cost?” one student muses. One notable feature of the school is its unique “Returned Peace Corps Fellows” program that waives tuition for Peace Corps volunteers. The school’s “physical location” is a big strength for students. The campus is located “right off two highways,” making it easy for students to balance family, life, jobs, and school. A related benefit of Kennesaw is its “amazing flexibility in its program” that, one student explains, means “I can base my course load on what’s going on at work and in my life.” This part-time program allows students to get their MBA in as little as one and a half years or as many as six, depending on the student’s needs.

“At Coles College of Business, the opportunities are near infinite and the caliber of professors, staff, and education is more than enough to groom the next leaders of business and society,” one happy student proclaims. “Teachers recognize that most students work full time,” although that sometimes means that classes could use “a little more rigor.” Students give mixed reviews to the professors. “I’ve had phenomenal professors who are engaging and really care about the students and I’ve had the opposite as well,” one student says. “Some of the professors seem to be here only for the research and publication opportunities.” However, most teachers are “outstanding human beings and intellectuals” who “truly are engaged with their students.” “My professors are excellent and they have given me the opportunity to truly discover myself,” one student declares. Classes at Kennesaw “are conducted in a very open forum,” which promotes “a culture of engagement at the University.” “Students are encouraged to participate and contribute to the learning process,” leading students to feel “as challenged by” their peers as by their instructors. Students feel that the “facilities are great” and that the administration is “easily accessible and very helpful.” One business student compares the Kennesaw experience to previous colleges they attended and declares that “Kennesaw State is a ten out of ten on a scale for administration.”
