Students Say

If you’re on the hunt for an MBA program with an “excellent reputation,” a “reasonable price [tag]” and “small class” sizes, then you might want to consider the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNC Greensboro. After all, the Bryan School MBA delivers “excellent value proposition and ROI.” Students appreciate that their coursework emphasizes “real world” application and requires an “appropriate mix of team and project work.” They also love that many courses “use…personality assessments to spark discussions about teamwork in the workplace.” Students are quick to laud their professors who are “well prepared for class and genuinely want to see the students succeed.” These instructors are “very passionate about their subjects” and “always available to assist students in topics related and unrelated to course materials.” One impressed Bryan School student notes that “professors [even] answer emails really quickly.” Students also note that the administration here is “fantastic.” They are “supportive and very responsive to student concerns.” Another student adds that the “Evening/Executive Program is understanding of challenges facing students who are full time employees.” A fellow classmate simply concludes, “My overall academic experience has been very positive.”

Students Say

UNC Greensboro MBA students are full of praise for the program’s “extremely accessible” office of Career & Professional Development. To begin with, the career services office does a phenomenal job of attracting “quality companies” for recruiting purposes. Aside from career fairs and online job boards, students can participate in a number of workshops and take advantage of many services. Indeed, Bryan School students can get assistance with interview prep, crafting a strong resume and receive pointers on salary negotiation. Students unsure of their next (or best) career move may also receive guidance on how to hone in on their subsequent steps. Best of all, the career services office continually connects current students with Bryan’s extensive alumni network. Companies that frequently recruit Bryan MBAs include American Express, Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, Wells Fargo, Credit Suisse, Target Corporation, Pepsi Bottling Group, Lowe’s Companies, Inc., Lincoln Financial Group, AT&T and Applebee’s Apple Gold Group.

Campus Life

Students Say

Life at the Bryan School may vary depending on whether or not you’re a full-time student or a part-time evening student. Part-time students, for example, tend to be “very focused on coursework and team projects” and have “very little availability for other activities.” When it comes to facilities, we’re told that the “Kaplan Center offers good gym, swimming and climbing opportunities.” Students also love gathering in “the MBA Lounge.” After all, it’s a “great” space and provides students with a “professional environment [in which] to get together and work…on assignments and projects.” What’s more, many students report that it’s “really nice [to simply] walk around” the campus. Additionally, there are “lots of activities for students to become involved” as well as “great opportunities for work placement.” Bryan MBAs are “great people with fantastic personalities.” Students happily share that their peers are “hard working,” “reliable” and “friendly.” They also certainly appreciate that there’s “a wide range of diversity” regarding both age and “work experience.” As one content student elaborates, “My classmates are from all different walks of life and represent a wide variety of industries and businesses. They are fun to work with, and equally competitive and challenging.”
