Students Say

With its "small class sizes, intimate learning environment" and amazing Atlanta location, there's no doubt that any MBA student would count themselves fortunate to attend Emory's Goizueta School of Business. The program is extremely "community oriented" and tends to place "a strong emphasis on collaboration." And, considering how "rigorous" the curriculum is, all that teamwork will surely be appreciated. Moreover, MBA students here value the fact that there are "a lot of opportunities to gain leadership experience." Perhaps even more importantly, the "programs also provide tremendous flexibility in terms of electives, independent research projects, and international travel." And there's a "huge focus on real world learning."

Inside the classroom, MBA candidates are greeted by professors who are "approachable and easily accessible." What's more, it's quite evident that they are "very invested in truly knowing their students and helping them succeed." They also have a lot of professional experience from which students can greatly benefit. As a second-year MBA explains, "Most [professors] do significant consulting on the side and can bring in fabulous guest speakers, take us on company site visits, or apply a real world case to the topic." Lastly, the "administration has open door policies that actually mean something, and they go out of their way to keep constantly improving." And a grateful first-year adds, "They lead trips, host book clubs, and frequently walk around common areas just to see what we're up to. It really feels like a family."

Students Say

MBA candidates will be delighted to learn that Emory consistently reports "great job placement statistics." Of course, given Goizeuta's "strong investment banking recruiting record" this isn't too surprising. Additionally, the school maintains numerous "connec- tions to major businesses in Atlanta," a fact that's supported by the "100 percent intern- ship placement rate." A thrilled first-year explains in more detail, "Emory's location in Atlanta gives it a significant advantage . . . It is located in a major business hub without any significant competitors close by. As a result students can [really] take advantage of many local resources and companies." Lastly, beyond the recruiting opportunities, students here also love to sing the praises of the alumni. As another grateful first-year shares, "The alumni network has also been fantastic. [They] have been very willing, if not eager, to assist in any way possible."

Campus Life

Students Say

Students at Goizueta seem to have genuine affection for their peers. Indeed, they rush to describe their fellow MBAs as "intellectually curious," "hardworking," and "very friend- ly." Best of all, they are the kind of individuals who "go out of their way to help each other." And while some students can be "competitive," we're assured that it's "[never] to the detriment of others." Indeed, a second-year student insists, "Teamwork and an overwhelming sense of community is always felt."

Additionally MBA candidates insist that Emory is a "very fun place to be." After all, "networking and being involved with more than academics is highly encouraged." As a first-year student interjects, "KEGS on Thursdays (Keeping Everyone at Goizueta Social) is the highlight of everyone's week. It's the perfect time to have a beer, relax, and catch up with friends after a stressful week." And an impressed second-year shares, "Last week alone we had a women's networking event, our fifty days till graduation party and a holi festival. There are always many things to do on top of your studies and classmates truly take advantage of what Emory and the Atlanta environment have to offer."
