Career Experience

I have mostly taught students from K-9th grade for almost 19 years. Most of my tutoring experience has been with students who needed help mastering English language grade skills.

I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy guiding students towards the confidence they need to improve their skills. It gives me the opportunity to help them connect to their prior knowledge and understand they can relate it to new concepts or skills. Being part of the rewarding experience that leads them to the "aha" moment (of understanding) fills me with great fulfillment.

I don't feel as if the tutor is understanding where I am coming from with the struggle of things. But that's okay I will try my best per usual and hope for the best. English writing is not my best at all or by no means.

I think this session was good, but it wasn't as beneficial as it could be. I was still confused at the end of the session, but I will keep trying sessions to see if I can further understand. I haven't used tutor.com much before.
