Students Say

Auburn University’s College of Business online “AACSB accredited MBA program” offers the “best ROI for the quality.” This “practical program” with a “stellar reputation” focuses on making “online students feel like part of the family.” One student says, “Auburn treats this just as though I am in the classroom and treats me as an equal student. It is basically like I’m on campus every day.” The school incorporates “full-time and part-time students collaborating on projects and viewing live recordings of lectures.” Even students with “intense work schedules and family demands” find the “virtually online” coursework “manageable” and “not all encompassing.” Nevertheless, the “demanding rigor” of the program still keeps students “engaged and accountable.” The assignments are “thorough and well-presented.” Auburn’s online program is “second to none.” The administration and professors “make it extremely easy to be an online student and still feel connected.” Instructors utilize an “interactive platform,” an “online video platform,” and many other “online tools” to create an authentic experience. The professors are always enthusiastic and “excited to chat with online students and get their feedback.” Students depict them as “above-average, highly-demanding, but reasonable.” One student says, “I have always had very prompt responses to any questions or concerns I’ve shared, and they have made an effort to reach out to distance students.” Auburn students are described as “engaging and intelligent,” as well as “helpful and supportive.” There seems to be a makeup of “younger professionals” who are “mature enough to handle the schedule” and “range from military personnel to managers at Fortune 500 companies.” They are a combination of “recent undergraduates, early in career, and some with well-established careers.”

Career Services Overview

Students Say

Located in Alabama, Auburn University has “a very good reputation in the southeast region” and provides a quality business education at an “affordable price.” Students at Auburn have access to excellent networking opportunities. A “great alumni community” and a cooperative student body are just some of the benefits of being an Auburn student. “Many of the students in the online program are experienced professionals that still maintain their careers.” Students network with each other “via email, social media, and a group chat on Slack.” Students get to use their real-world experiences to share their wealth of knowledge with their classmates. And there is rarely a “bad apple in the bunch.” As the coursework progresses, it encompasses further “group interaction,” which allows for even more genuine learning opportunities. The “capstone” experience truly showcases Auburn students as “a cut above the traditional student.” As one student says, “The capstone is a great strength. They get companies to come to them with projects, so the experience you get is real.” Another student reports, “Auburn pays attention to the little details in their program and events. That gave me the impression that they focus on those same little details in the classroom, which they do.” Professors and advisers take a great interest in the career advancement of their students, answering questions quickly and providing superb guidance for future goals. There is even the “option for a dual degree (MSIS).” Auburn University College of Business online has something for everyone and truly makes everyone “feel like a part of the program.”
