The Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida qualifies itself as “powered by analytics” and “driven by creativity.” The school offers a traditional full-time MBA degree as well as a 21-month executive MBA program, and an online MBA program. The college’s strongest concentrations are in Sport and Entertainment Management and Supply Chain Management; students can also choose to do a dual MBA/MS in Sport & Entertainment. The “large healthcare sector in Tampa Bay” attracts a large number of students who take advantage of the healthcare management coursework offered by Muma. Other certificate programs include analytics and business intelligence; business analytics; business foundations; compliance, risk, and anti-money laundering; entrepreneurship; human resources; and project management. The University of South Florida has “great diversity and…rich resources,” and Muma specifically has a “receptive administration” with “excellent” professors “who communicate key concepts solidly and stress their understanding,” “are transparent about assessment,” and “value [each] student’s unique contribution and original thinking.” Students can also take advantage of the option to take on a “second year residency” that comes with a “tuition waver.” The school shows its commitment to sustainability in a number of ways: the first of which is the Building Sustainable Enterprise track. The course “Social, Ethical and Legal Systems” is a required course that examines “economic, technological, political, social, and ecological environments…within the context of business decision making, ethics, and social responsibility.” Several faculty members are “actively engaged in sustainability research,” and the school publishes a sustainability journal, Organization and Environment. Additionally, the university has the “Patel College of Global Sustainability” where students can pursue a dual degree with the Center of Entrepreneurship.

Yes
Description
We offer six masters level courses in ?Building Sustainable Enterprise? track, and several offer practicums and applied research projects. It is widely known that much of our environmental harm can be linked to economic activity, and several faculty members here believe the key to meeting the challenges posed by climate change is to actively engage business in the process. Some challenge students to find ways to make sustainable practices affordable and, whenever possible, profitable in order to get business involved. Much work has been focused on engaging key stakeholders in the process of positive change and facilitating a shared, strategic vision among business leaders. Faculty have coordinated and conducted numerous business action research projects on sustainability issues in the construction, agriculture, aquaculture, hotel and food service industries, marketing and sustainable development initiatives. Applied research has been conducted on many publicly held and private organizations, as well as government agencies. This gives students many opportunities to apply tools learned in the classroom to real life cases and improve the organizations sustainable performance.
School's environmental commitment 1:
We have an entire track in our MBA program (now in its 15th year) Building Sustainable Enterprise, which enables students to take electives in the field or become certified. We have a sustainability journal, Organization and Environment, managed at the USF Muma College of Business, and several faculty members are actively engaged in sustainability research.
School's environmental commitment 2:
The USF Patel College of Global Sustainability continues to offer a dual degree with the Center of Entrepreneurship. http://entrepreneurship.usf.edu/programs/sustainability/ and http://sgs.usf.edu/m-a-program/section/curriculum.
School's environmental commitment 3:

Campus Life
Students Say
The students at Muma are diverse, ranging broadly across “demographics and work experience.” Students find “broad…perspectives” across the “political spectrum.” A high number of working professionals in Muma’s MBA program means that the campus culture may be less community-oriented than others. As one student puts it: “Since there’s no cohort system, many students are disconnected. That being said, many students have found their own circle of peers.” But students are “very engaged in class discussions and support one another through their learning processes.”
