Career Experience
As a mathematics tutor with several years of experience, I have honed my ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in relatable terms. I have helped students of all ages and skill levels to improve their understanding of math and achieve their academic goals. My tutoring career began as a part-time job during college, where I tutored fellow high school students in pre-calculus and algebra. I worked as a tutor providing one-on-one instruction to college students on subjects like Linear Algebra and Calculus 3. In this role, I gained experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying skill levels, from struggling students to those seeking to excel. In addition to tutoring, I have also worked as a student researcher, participating in summer research programs. Through this experience, I have gained a deep understanding of mathematics and skills necessary for success in mathematics courses. Overall, my passion for mathematics and commitment to helping students succeed have been the driving forces behind my tutoring career. I am dedicated to making math accessible and enjoyable for all students, and I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.
I Love Tutoring Because
it gives me the opportunity to share my passion for mathematics with students who may be struggling or unsure about the subject. Being able to see the moment when a concept finally clicks for a student and they have that "aha" moment is incredibly rewarding. I believe that everyone has the ability to understand and appreciate math, and being able to help guide them towards that understanding is a fulfilling experience. Additionally, tutoring allows for a more personalized and focused approach to learning, which can lead to greater success and confidence for the student. Overall, I find tutoring to be a meaningful and enjoyable way to make a positive impact in someone's academic journey.
