Career Experience
I have worked in education for most of my career. I was the director of admissions for an apprenticeship program in California. I also served as an admissions counselor for a university in South Florida. And most recently, I taught at a college. I hold two microcredentials from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE): Designing Student-Centered Courses and Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Online Learning Environment. Additionally, I am experienced in developing curriculum for synchronous and asynchronous learning.
I Love Tutoring Because
I enjoy working with students of all ages! I taught at the college level for 7 years and have worked with learners of different capabilities, from intellectual disabilities (ID) to honors students. I thrive on creating a safe environment where learners feel comfortable about ask questions to enhance their learning abilities.
