Career Experience

I taught high school for almost 26 years. I have taught most all subjects in math from 7th grade to calculus. I also taught chemistry and physics almost every year of my teacher tenure. After I retired in June 2010, I started tutoring students locally in the fall of 2010. I've tutored students in chemistry, Algebra I, Algebra II, advanced math/trig, and calculus. In the spring of 2011, I filled in for a science teacher for a couple of months at a local private school at which most of the students that I tutored at the time attended. I started tutoring with Tutor.com a few years ago and continue to learn new things as I tutor students middle school to college.

Mr. B simplifies complex concepts and is extremely direct--not letting students stagnate, but rather, pushing them forward through the problem-solving process. He is also very resourceful, supplying students with cheat sheets and the like.
