Career Experience
I received my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 2002. I then held postdoctoral positions in Virginia and Japan, allowing me to interact with and help many students in their chemical education journey. After returning to the United States, I worked a couple of years as a corporate research scientist before starting my own company ten years ago researching novel polymeric materials which has helped me develop a practical sense of how these skills are used.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring lets me help people with something I enjoy and have experience with. Hopefully, by showing the enjoyment I get from organic chemistry, a greater understanding can be made as well as a greater appreciation for the discipline as a whole.
