For the past 30+ years I have been working as a teacher/tutor in various settings, including 1-to-1 and in small groups, classrooms, and corporate training sessions, both in person and online. A lot of my experience was overseas as an ESL instructor and college prep advisor.

I Love Tutoring Because

I like to help people and make a difference. Being a teacher helps me understand more about life and purpose.

This was very helpful. Technical issues - I don't like that the audio tries to auto-connect to my cell phone instead of defaulting to the computer audio. That caused issues with not being able to hear.

This service is why I picked SNHU over Purdue. Overall I love everyone who has helped. When my professor will not email me back after a couple of days. My tutors always save the day and help me with answering all my questions or concerns I may have. The first term I have not had the best experience with my professor but my tutors make up for it. Steve was extremely helpful in helping me understand everything better. I was also able to learn some things that I never knew before that I think will benefit me in long wrong. He was patient with me asking so many questions and I appreciated the advice he gave me.. It worked out perfectly because he was a Humanities major and was able to help me a lot regarding my research paper assignment. Would use the tutoring service again especially if I come across someone just as helpful as he was.
