Career Experience
I have worked as a part time tutor since my teens. This extended to my experience in college as an undergraduate TA and lead tutor with the math department. I then taught HS level math in NC for a few years focusing in algebra and geometry. I have maintained and continued tutoring even after leaving the classroom, adding up to roughly 19 years of experience working with students.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring gives me the chance to continue learning new tactics and insights, and above all, I absolutely love the personal high when I can witness a student having a "GOT IT!" moment. Showing students that their academic subjects don't have to be mundane is my main goal. No one should dread homework!
