Career Experience
I’ve been in education for 15 years, starting as a high school English teacher and Special Education teacher before moving into school leadership. I’ve taught students with many different strengths and needs, and I love helping them build confidence in reading, writing, and understanding challenging concepts. In my current role as an assistant principal, I still spend a lot of time supporting students and finding ways to help them be successful every day.
I Love Tutoring Because
it allows me to connect with students on a personal level and meet them exactly where they are. Whether a student needs confidence, clarity, or simply someone who believes in them, tutoring gives me the space to provide that. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts in ways that finally click for students and helping them discover their strengths. Tutoring also gives me a chance to support families and reinforce that learning can feel doable—and even joyful—when the right support is in place.
