I worked as a bank teller for 2 1/2 years but as the pandemic fluctuated, I wanted to work from home to stay close to my wife who is high risk. Now I'm tutoring students in math here on Tutor.com, and I'm excited to help them understand math in a positive way!
I Love Tutoring Because
I love to discuss and understand topics and help those who need it. I'm aware many students have a negative relationship with learning and school, especially when it comes to math, which I love! I believe this is because a teacher who has 30+ students in their class doesn't have the time or resources to make sure every student understands the subject; that is where tutors like me come in! My goal is to help students understand the subjects they are having problems with in a new way so they can come back to school and stay on the same page as the rest of the class!
