I would definitely benefit from a session where I can speak with someone live versus all the pinging back and forth. The having to constantly text/ping while trying to use the whiteboard that isn't the easiest to use or read, wastes a lot of valuable time.

sharing a file was very difficult, and copying and pasting was even worse. the tutor couldnt see or they couldnt see all of it. also the fact that the tutor doesnt have audio is frustratiing with math.

I can't draw on your white board with my stylus I can only draw with me pressing on the mouse pad with my finger, which is very hard to do. Also, after I leave a text bubble I can't go back and edit what I wrote (that's what I have to do since I can't draw). And out of nowhere the work I did in my text bubble disappears and only leaves a little bit of what I wrote.

So tutor.com has been a mixed bag for me. The time constraint per session is limiting because that is usually when the session begins to actually get somewhere. Today I waited for a solid 20 minutes to get connected to a tutor and every tutor I have seems to be terrified of actually helping like you punish them or something. They act like like we are asking them to cheat, I just want guidance for my homework, not more questions at every turn. My professors do a good job already of consuming my time.
