Andrew was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was completely stumped after not taking any math classes for over 20 years, and was feeling like maybe I should drop the class. He gave me the guidance I needed to figure out how to solve the problem WITHOUT giving away any answers and essentially built the confidence I needed to move forward in this course!

The tutor that helped me today, i'm really confident with the help he gave. A lot of of the help i've gotten previously, i ended up getting negative feedback on my work.

so we'd be working on a problem and i would ask how to do something. he would answer then i would work on it manually. the problems were extensive so they took long. however he wouldn't check up on me. he would only message me if i messaged him first. another example is... when we completed one full problem, he wouldn't say anything. he would wait for me to ASK if we can move on to the next problem which i thought was really weird. it irritated me that i had to chase him (that's what it felt like). he's lucky that i was pretty familiar with the material but i was making little mistakes. if i was completely clueless i'm not sure how the session would have gone. i'm assuming tutors work with multiple students at once, which i understand, but it makes the tutoring session SO MUCH LONGER because there's always a lag between them answering. it's annoying because sometimes i'll only get through 3 problems which should have only taken like 20 minutes. i'm going to add him to my favorites anyway and see how it goes next time. he was still nice and helpful- i don't mean to leave a bad review for him. i still appreciate all the work these tutors do.
