Career Experience
I completed an 18-week student teaching placement at a middle school with 6th graders. This school is an International Baccalaureate school, and I was working specifically within the Special Education house within the grade level. Prior to student teacher, I had gained field hours through various placements, I had tutoring experience at both the middle and high school level prior to college, and I had two teaching assistant positions in 6th and 11th grade ELA classes, respectively.
I Love Tutoring Because
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others come to understand concepts and methods. Most of all, I love helping others realize they are capable and able to work independently.
