Career Experience
I started out in early childhood working with children starting at age one. I helped them learn colors, counting, animals and their sounds, songs, and most of all setting a simple foundation of sharing and being kind to their peers. Then I slowly moved up to preschool age children. We learned to think outside the box, being creative, learning the process, working on gross and fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, social emotional skills, and a lot more all mostly done by play. During play we would use terminology that went along with their center. We would use math terms in various centers and science terms when exploring with science. Then, I ventured on to school age children. I became a substitute teacher in elementary, middle and high school. I help children learn, grow, and prepare them for their future outside of school.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love the challenge that comes with it and helping students grow and learn. I also love to see that "I get it" moment when everything clicks.
