Career Experience
I began my profession teaching third grade students, but I left face-to-face teaching after getting married. After getting married and raising a family, my desire to help others and share an interest in language led to tutoring English as a Second Language to native speakers of Spanish and Portuguese. This past year, I tutored a group of Spanish speakers who work for a construction company. My interest in business and law led me to a career as a contract and grant specialist at a public university, where in time, I received training and focused on student affairs and administration in post-secondary education.
I Love Tutoring Because
I truly like to help others. Also, I love tutoring because I'm a life-long learner; tutoring enables me to share my interest for a wide variety of subjects.
