Career Experience
My most recent work experience was being an intern in a lab that did gene sequencing. I used my biochemistry and molecular biology knowledge to do experiments that improved the process and quality of DNA and RNA samples we worked with. I also used statistics to decide if an experiment made a significant improvement to sample quality and those changes or techniques should be implemented. Before that, I worked as a caddy and a server at a golf club. That experience helped me improve at time management, teamwork, and I gained confidence that is very important for presentations and interviews. I also have worked as a gymnastics and track and field coach which helps me be a better tutor. Learning in sports is just like learning in a classroom.
I Love Tutoring Because
I believe we learn best by learning from a variety of people and sources of information. I always did best when my friends and I would teach each other because we would all use different details to remember and understand. Sharing knowledge is a beautiful experience and I hope to learn from any student I work with while they learn from me!
