Career Experience
I have been tutoring my local neighbors' junior high and high school-aged children over the summer in math for the past 10 years and home schooling my now teenager for the past 4 years. I am a full-time stay at home mom and would love to pass on my knowledge and experience to today's youth.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love tutoring because I love to share what I have learned with others. When I was younger I struggled in school and just didn't get it. So I can understand the frustration that many students may feel. As I got older I found different techniques to remember and retain to make learning easier for me. I understand that not everyone learns the same way; education is not a one-size-fits-all. I want everyone I tutor to grow and be challenged and recognize their own potential and self-worth and experience the "ah ha" moment. Tutoring also provides a way for me to continue to challenge myself and continue self-growth.
