My career has been shaped by my experience being a (white-passing) female of color together with being a first-generation immigrant, first-generation Ph.D., college instructor, researcher, and academic writer. Whether as a Ph.D. or as a Coach, I support you in the process of developing the skills that will help you succeed in your academic, professional, and/or personal life.
I Love Tutoring Because
I am passionate about helping others to accomplish what sometimes feels impossible to them. Thus, my teaching is committed to supporting students in developing the linguistic and cultural skills that will lead them to succeed in and beyond my courses while reflecting on their personal daily realities. To accomplish this, there are three goals at the core of my teaching, both in traditional classrooms and in online contexts: to create an inclusive learning environment, to support the students’ learning process, and to encourage their intellectual independence.
